Scouting Fees

Our Troop uses Scoutbook to log troop-level charges and payments to make dues, camp fees, and all finances transparent. 

The treasurer keeps a full backup spreadsheet because sometimes Scoutbook is dumb or down. Families are welcome to see their information on the spreadsheet, though it is limited to in person with the treasurer to protect other families' information.

Our Troop uses and accepts a combination of Venmo, Zeffy, and Cash/Check. Check your scout's specific payment options on their fees page.

You can also pay for upcoming events (like campouts) via this button.

Each Scout is responsible for registering with Scouting America each year on their own. The troops do not collect fees to cover this and do not pay it.

Scouting America will send reminder emails, so be sure to look for those.

Dues are $10 per month paid to the Troop. 

Dues can be paid monthly, quarterly, or yearly to the Troop Venmo, by Zeffy, or by check. 

Dues and any other fees are logged in Scout Book.

Each event may have a separate fee; fees are logged in Scout Book.

On average, expect each overnight campout to run about $30 per attendee.
